Alumni Center
All alumni are welcome to unwind on the porch, enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee or tea, explore alumni-authored books and yearbooks, and take advantage of free WiFi.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM (during normal business hours)
Alumni Referral Scholarship
Up to $4,000 per year scholarship for new traditional undergraduate students referred by a CIU alumni with an earned undergraduate degree or higher from CIU (alumni could have completed a Resident or Online degree, does not include certificates).
Audit a Class
Alumni who graduated from CIU are eligible to audit one class per semester, up to the level of their degree. Online classes are not available for audits.
Continuing Alumni Scholarship
For Alumni who earned an undergraduate degree or higher from CIU (does not include certificates).
- Master’s — Up to $2,250 per year ($750/semester)
- Doctoral — Up to $1,500 per year ($500/semest
Facility Rentals
CIU alumni have the opportunity to rent campus facilities for special events, meetings, and gatherings. Whether you’re planning a wedding, conference, or reunion, CIU offers a variety of venues to accommodate your needs. Contact us to learn more about availability and pricing.
Guest Rooms
Alumni can stay in the guest rooms for one free night per year, per family. Additional nights for alumni cost $75. Reservations can be made under alumna/us name and only alumni may utilize the reservation. Benefit not applicable during Homecoming.
Library
CIU Alumni can obtain a free card for checking out materials at the G. Allen Fleece Library. Alumni have access to two of our databases: Academic Search Alumni Edition and ATLA Religion Database Alumni Edition (for Seminary Alumni). Use the link below to access them and select “Alumni MyCIU”. You must have a MyCIU login to access them.
Meals
Alumni may receive three free meals in the cafeteria per year. Tickets are available in the Alumni office.
