Description

This position is responsible for processing and evaluating applicant transcripts, managing data flow between admissions and student records systems, and supporting transfer credit evaluations. The role ensures accuracy and compliance in transcript processing, facilitates seamless data transfers between the J1 admissions and J1 student modules, and provides critical support to enrollment counselors regarding applicant records. Additionally, the position utilizes the TES transcript evaluation service, ensuring accurate and up-to-date transfer credit assessments in alignment with institutional policies. This role plays a key part in maintaining data integrity, supporting recruitment efforts, and enhancing the admissions process for prospective students.

Responsibilities

  1. Processing of Transcripts
    • Receive and process incoming applicant transcripts, ensuring accurate and timely data entry into the CRM.
    • Provide ongoing support to enrollment counselors through frequent communication regarding applicant documents.
    • Serve as a compliance officer for admissions policies by providing training on transcript processing policies and procedures.
  2. Student Data Management
    • Oversee the transfer of student data between the J1 Admissions and J1 Student modules, ensuring seamless and accurate transitions.
    • Maintain and monitor the data transfer schedule to ensure timely and efficient processing.
  3. Transfer Evaluations
    • Support recruitment efforts by evaluating applicant transcripts for transfer credit eligibility.
    • Provide admissions counselors with accurate and timely information on transfer credit policies.
  4. Transfer Credit Evaluation 
    • Utilize the TES transcript evaluation service to create transfer credit evaluations.
    • Collaborate with the Registrar’s office to maintain and update TES account annually in alignment with new academic catalog releases.
    • Evaluate transcripts for accepted students and accurately transfer credit data into the SIS.
    • Serve as a compliance officer for registrar policies by providing training on transfer credit eligibility policies and procedures.
  5. Administrative and Support Duties
    • Act as the admissions liaison to the Office of the Registrar for all student recruitment cycle processes related to transcript evaluations.
    • Assist in maintaining the policies and procedures manual for admissions operations by documenting all business processes related to transcript evaluation.
    • Provide support for recruiting events as needed.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Experience in data entry, office functions, and database systems preferred.
  • Experience with MS Office and Adobe products.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
